About us.
Created by photographers, for photographers, the Northern Focus Photography Club strives to be a source for learning, sharing and growing for photographers in Thunder Bay and area.
With the most interactive tools, membership features and more, our technology based approach for learning and sharing our passion easier for photographers at ALL levels.
From beginners to professionals, our club meets monthly to share images, take part in photography challenges and most importantly learn from one another.
Through creative and constructive critiques to advanced on line tools for learning and sharing, to unique photo gatherings and retreats, membership is a benefit to all photographers and hobbyists.
As an added bonus to members, our website is fully adaptable on mobile devices, so that learning tools, tracking tools and photography tools are accessible in the field right at your finger tips. That includes, chatting with other members, looking for advice and even tracking the northern lights.
Membership:
The club meets monthly with various photowalks, shooting excursions and other activities scheduled outside of regular meeting dates.
Each meeting is structured into two components. Image submission / group critiques and a learning segment or topic pertaining to that month's theme.
Membership includes full access to our website, as well as our Facebook discussion group and is constantly changing and growing with links and materials for member access.
Membership fees include access to member photo excursions and presentations.
Overnight / traveling retreats are not covered but members receive discounts on accommodations.
Fees: $35.00 per year
Access to website / Facebook page included only in yearly membership fees
